ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an opportunity to be at the genesis of a brand new analytics arm that will shape the future of data analytics and AI at the Algorand Foundation. As an integral member of the lean Data Analytics team, the Junior Data Analyst will assist in building and maintaining reports and dashboards for internal customers. The role will report directly to the Head of BI.

This is a chance to work on fast-paced, high-profile projects with a significant opportunity for industry-level impact on emerging blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for internal business units by analyzing business metrics and KPIs
• Interpret blockchain data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Conduct market research on blockchain trends
• Implement data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs

WHO YOU ARE

• Degree in computer science or related field
• 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or BI role
• Experience with BI visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Looker)

Python, SQL and AI tools

• Familiarity with blockchain technologies
• Desire to keep up to date with new technologies, solutions, and business concepts
• Independent and proactive, organized, have the ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Be comfortable in a multifaceted and dynamic role, and be ready to thrive in a high-growth scale-up environment

GOOD TO HAVE

• Ability to make impactful presentations
• Experience and understanding of statistical analysis
